Tap class for *K-4th graders. *K-1st grade must be approved for this level - K-1st grade should start in our Wittle Weavin 2 classes to be assessed. If you can't attend a Wittle Weavin 2 class, contact us for approval to take this class.

About the event
Tap is a dynamic form of dance where performers create rhythmic sounds by striking the floor with special shoes fitted with metal taps on the heels and toes. It's often accompanied by music, but the sounds of the taps themselves form a percussive accompaniment, making the dancer both a musician and a mover.
This free dance class is from 4:15-5pm on 8/12/25 at Weave Dance Company located at 3641 Brainerd Rd. Chattanooga, TN
Arrive: Doors open at 4:10pm
What to Wear: Comfortable clothing that you can move in easily. Bring socks. We have some spare tap shoes for students to borrow, but bring sneakers incase not. Do not buy anything for this class. If you decide to join, we have required dress code wear that you get from us.
