About the event
Ta p is a dynamic form of dance where performers create rhythmic sounds by striking the floor with special shoes fitted with metal taps on the heels and toes. It's often accompanied by music, but the sounds of the taps themselves form a percussive accompaniment, making the dancer both a musician and a mover.
This free dance class is from 6:45-7:30pm on 8/14/25 at Weave Dance Company located at 3641 Brainerd Rd. Chattanooga, TN
Arrive: Doors open at 6:40pm
What to Wear: Comfortable clothing that you can move in easily with sneakers. We do have some spare tap shoes to borrow. First come first served. Do not buy anything for this class. If you decide to join, we have required dress code wear that you get from us.
