About Lonnie Davis:

From VoyageAtl.com: "I began my love for performing arts while in high school in Fort Wayne, IN.  I did not begin my formal dance training until after high school.  I was part of a hip hop dance crew that would perform at local talent shows and dance contest around the city.

After high school I received a scholarship to the American Dance Festival (thanks to the legendary Baba Chuck Davis).  From there my passion for dance training was sparked and I never looked back.   I was fortunate enough to train with some of the most noted teachers in the field.  I continued to train/dance with Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Giordano Dance Chicago, Williams-Henry Contemporary Dance Company, and at the Ailey School.

With that training I was able to work in both commercial and concert dance.  I began traveling the world with dance companies as well as in musical theatre and broadway revues for multiple cruise lines.  Soon after, I started to develop a love for teaching and experimenting finding my voice as a choreographer.  I knew I’d eventually want to share my gift of dance with the next generation.  In 2006 I stepped away from a life of full-time performing.  I began to focus my energy on creating my own Davis Dance brand.  That would included my individual style of teaching and choreography here in Atlanta.  Having received the rich foundational training in traditional African, modern, jazz, and contemporary styles; I had so much information to pull from and ultimately share.

I soon developed a solid reputation as a highly sought after teacher and choreographer in the Atlanta area and abroad.  I spent over 12 years teaching at one of the most prominent performing arts high schools in GA- Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts/Pebblebrook High School.  I’m currently on faculty at DeKalb School of the Arts and the Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education.   My “free time” is spent either private coaching, conducting workshops, choreographing and presenting works on my professional dancers.  You can also, find me conducting auditions for the Georgia State High School Governors Honors Program or scouting talent during Royal Caribbean Productions local and some nationwide auditions.

I’ve also, had the opportunity to create and share my work for severals seasons with Atlanta audiences during Dance Canvas’ annual choreographer showcase.  All while maintaining a full teaching schedule."

About Monica Noble

From Dance101.org: "Originally from Augusta, GA, Monica "Mo" Noble began training in modern and ballet at John S. Davidson Fine Arts School. After moving to Atlanta to attend Georgia State University, she was introduced to hip hop while dancing on Dancers On Point Dance Team. She choreographed several of DOP's dance pieces and also performed at some of Atlanta's hottest venues and events. Mo has choreographed and performed for the UniverSoul Circus tour, danced for David Banner on Ludacris' "Chicken and Beer Tour," co-choreographed the "Crank It Up" David Banner video, and performed in two of international artist K’Naan’s videos.

She has performed on the CW Network Macy's Fashion Show, with Juanita Bynum's "Threshing Floor" conference, Kiera Clark-Sheard, Big Boi from Outkast, and has choreographed many state/national fitness competition routines. As her passion is teaching, she has taught for conventions, summer intensives, set competition pieces, and guest taught at many dance studios. Ever-evolving, humble, and hungry, Mo has only scratched the surface of her dance career"
